“why so many posts all of a sudden?” you might ask… well.. Maybe it’s because..

I’M FREE AT LAST!!!

Approximately 7hours ago, I finished my very last exam of my college life. And so as of 7hours ago, I have been an official member of the “Unemployed”. Yea well. It’s frightening and yet liberating at the same time, to be on the precipice of something completely new. It’s frightening to me because I’m afraid that

1) There’s no job out there for me (in these times, who isn’t afraid of this??)

2) The first job I take up ends up becoming a job in which I’m stuck for life

3) I hate my job

Yea you see what I mean? So much to be afraid of. Of course, I know that there’s a lot more to look forward to (like a decent income AT LAST omfg) but fear is pretty much holding me back.

ok FINE. So it isn’t fear that’s holding me back but pure, unadulterated SLOTH. I’ve just been too lazy to get off my ass and update my resume and send it out to the jobs/companies I’ve been interested in for awhile now.

I wish I would get off my behind and do it.  I probably will soon enough (tomorrow? hmm) but for now, thoughts of all the various things I want to do whirl around in my head. Like getting this blog officially up and open, for instance. The perfectionistic side of me refuses to let me open this blog before I’m done making a new layout and filling it up with content and all. That really, totally, sucks.

Lots of things to do, but lots of laziness to overcome. Ahhh, will I ever get to all my ‘projects’? Only time will tell…

Oh and a quick update on what I’ve been doing this past week.. NOTHING. That’s right! I’ve stayed at home and done NOTHING! It’s awfully liberating. Try it!

along with the LOLShares, I thought I’d also have a FUNShare where I share the fun stuff I’ve discovered both in the Virtual world as well as IRL (that’s In Real Life to you acronym-unfriendly people).. This isn’t gonna be a regular feature like the LOLShares though, only as and when I chance upon something fun =)

Today’s FUNShare is the amazing LOOKLET. In my own words, Looklet is a fun little website that allows you to put together looks on fashion models and just be a fashion editor ala in a fashion mag! Fun for all of us fashionistas out there =) And even if you’re sartorially challenged, well, this website is at once a good place for you to let it all hang out and pick up some dressing ideas!

I chanced upon this website from a FBFriend’s posting.. And have had endless fun! Of course, much of my fun has been derived from mocking other people’s “creations” but oh well. Like I said in my Looklet Profile, “This is what I could be if I had the clothes and the body.” Looklet is fun for fashionistas. Go wild!

So I held off from blogging since I didn’t really have the time and inclination to blog about the things I really wanted to blog about, but I felt that I should have more than just ONE measly little post before I officially open the blog… So here’s a quick blog about what I’ve been up to in the past few days

I’ve been a busy busy busy social butterfly.. Sometimes I really think that having too many friends has its drawbacks but hey, I’m not complaining. I love my friends. I just wish they didn’t ask me out all on consecutive days..

Beginning on Thursday.. I had a nice chill morning with Siying.. Met her at Lot1 and we packed LJS and Mac’s ice cream to bring to my house for lunch, and rented a movie.. The movie we chose was Knowing – starring Nicholas Cage.. It had an intriguing synopsis about a time capsule and a seemingly possessed little girl so we thought it’d be cool. I will review the movie in a separate post. It was pretty good =)

Siying left at some time after 3pm and then I got ready to meet BrunchBuddies in town for a little reunion =D After meeting up with Ann, we decided to spend the evening at Partyworld for a night of karaoke fun! When we traipsed all the way to Heeren, we realized that the old Partyworld wasn’t there anymore >< (what losers lol) so at Joce’s recommendation we headed for Cash Studio at cuppage . And we had a helluva time!! =D It was awesome.

The next day, I was asked to meet Val and Jasmine for dinner (kinda last minute, like a day before or something lol) We just sat around and chatted. It was pretty chill =) We ended up at Scott’s lounge (I think) at some hotel and I totally loved the ambience!

Saturday was a day that had taken a lot of planning… kinda… Met up with a bunch of UB people, mainly Steph’s clique.. lol. We had lots of fun playing board games and all =D We’re gonna try to make this a monthly gathering thing so we shall see=)

Sunday.. I wasn’t supposed to be able to make it for this dinner (as I had family committments) but I was peer-pressured into going.. After church, val picked me up and we went straight down to the Rail Mall to meet Jaytee and Shumz!! (Note: it was after church, and I had to do a reading at church, which required pretty formal-ish clothes, which explains my attire!!! ><)

yup and that marked the end of the uber busy weekend for me. *wipes sweat off brow* whew! Thank goodness it’s over. It drained all my resources dry!!
