Forced dieting sounds pretty dreadful :( wow, 40+ weeks? That's around 10 month's time - a lot less than the 2-year my orthodontist gave me for my braces! But I guess my teeth were so hideous to start off with and only braces could fix them :) basically my incissors where growing on top of my other teeth due to a narrow jaw of mine (damn, genetics), so yea, had to undergo four tooth extractions removing perfectly funcitonal molars to make space for the incissors. Anyway I had two molars removed from the top and another two on the bottom - not four in one row haha. I remembered how braces hurt! I couldn't even bring myself to eat porridge without crying because it hurt so bad. I had my mom blend the porridge so I could drink them instead.
