At the same time, I’m really pissed that in xiaxue’s latest post, she blogged about not having had the chance to enjoy the typical American high school life with all its drama and the magical yet scary feeling of attending prom and stuff.. I was pissed coz I wanted to blog about that and DANG she did it first. Oh wait, did I already blog about it in one of my previous posts? I’m not sure now. >< But yea, I feel the same.

HAHA! Actually, it kinda does. Funny story, my cousin said I sound different in this video. I think when I speak to family and friends, I’m a lot more relaxed and use a lot more colloquialisms and such. Tongue twisters in a true Singaporean (read: Singlish) accent… Sounds like an idea for a next vlog =P

I dislike vague instructions like “plenty”. How much is plenty?! It’s like when recipes call for “a pinch”, a big pinch or a little pinch!? Don’t even get me started on “cups”… Anyway, I think the amount you had qualifies as plenty but Wow! You chug damn slow! I ran out of energy to chant! Next time I’ll be less enthusiastic, chant slower.. :-p
Whee! Big Bang Theory! I find it inconsistent. Or possibly I just have to be in the right mood to watch it… I have times when watching it irritates the hell out of me and I think “How did I ever think this show was good?! I am a moron.” Then I’ll be bored and it’ll be on and I’ll watch it and be entertained. (Then again, it amuses me that in this video your accent changes when you properly enunciate smart. I’m easily entertained. :-p) Sheldon’s the centre of it all for sure, without Sheldon it’d be completely meh.
They tried to make you look shorter than your bro? Those fiends! Did they make him stand on a box? If not, then they didn’t try very hard, did they? Imust confess, I tried to skip forward and drag the red thing like you suggested… But it was a trick! I skipped too far and had to skip back and watch all the photos over again! I especially like the Cher with Globe shot at around 5.21 I feel it has an element of world domination to it. Just a hint of “See this? Yeah, it’s mine. Or soon will be! Muahahah!” It’s my favourite one. The last one was pretty good too. (Not just ’cause it was last. I liked it.)

Okay, serious hat on.
That first song, Home. Mmm… I liked it. It was snappy and smooth. I give it 8 out of 10 because I want to hear it again. I think maybe there was a bum note near the end, seemed a bit off but 98% of it was good!
Second song. Not liking it as much. The lyrics seemed silly and I don’t like the imagery of a wrecking ball in a dress AT ALL! I’m glad it was interrupted by the phone. It picked up a bit with the line about not doing what you’re told but first impressions can be tough to beat. I give it a 4.
Final song! Oh, very nice! Got a sort of poetic rhythm and your voice seems to flow beautifully. Way way better than the previous one! 8 again!
Can we choose two? If there’s a tie, will you still sing The Elmo Song?
