People who have read my countless blogs know I have an incessant torrent of words in my head that is constantly spilling over onto my blogs.. However, they also know that I do not update very frequently. I get lazy and procrastinate a lot. In any case, I’d still like to have an outlet to express my thoughts for my more poetic moments and I have stopped updating about my daily life much. I still maintain a blog for that purpose, it’s at cherffalo.blogspot.com and gets random updates. That’s more for my life and photoshop works etc. chervalier is intended for more literary outpourings.. Hopefully I maintain this……
I feel that speaking in third person helps my writing process by giving me some distance and thus allowing my more um, literary(?) side to express itself.. So I shall begin here:
Cherlynn (sher-lene) is a girl like any other, with interests that sometimes clash. Her greatest obssessions include shopping, dresses, cheesecakes, facebook, taking pictures, dressing up and reading light-hearted books.. These airheaded interests clash with her other less typical pursuits such as computer programming (for webdesign), writing reports, reading intense crime thrillers, watching horror movies, playing basketball and debating. She also occasionally plays the piano (after all, she has to put her Grade 7 knowledge to good use), attempts to cross-stitch and scrapbook and has just started a burgeoning postcard collection (to replace her embarassing (because it’s quite sizeable) Pokemon card collection).
There are many things she will try – from the wild and outrageous (iow kinky =P) to the downright boring – but she will never ever be interested in politics (except when sarah palin or barack obama come into play..) nor will she compromise her principles. She will never denounce God or read the Business Times (unless it’s for a project or research). She will try her best to be environmentally friendly but is unable to give up or compromise on some comforts for that.
She also realizes she may have to eat her own words some day but for the moment, these words are true. There is so much more to her than the above words can describe, so read the entries to get an insight into her character and psyche.
